Dinner at Dublin Castle in Honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II - 2011
The state dinner was attended by over 160 guests, many of whom were made up of government officials from both England and Ireland. The extensive guest not only included members of state from both countries but also included some of Irelands best known poets, writers and sportsmen. Nobel Laureate and one of Irelands best loved poets Seamus Heaney, as well as Irish rugby star Brian O’Driscoll graced the dinner with their presence alongside noted dignitaries such as the British Prime Minister David Cameron and our own Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
